#170. Shadow Face.

I did this one a while ago... I cut out a piece of paper, then shined a flashlight through it onto the wall.

Face #103.

This was done with a rubber stamp and ink pad, an idea that I stole from an assignment that I had in one of my drawing classes.

Face #65.

What could be better than combining two of my passions together to create something?

#52. Pancake faces.

My sweet hubby made pancakes for breakfast and saved some batter just for me. I didn't even ask - my creative assignment was just handed to me today. Kinda nice for a change.

Face # 51.

Face #50. Vegetables.

I made this snack for the kids yesterday, and then thought, "hey! why not count this as my face for the day?" but decided not to. Unfortunately, I didn't think of anything better to do, so here you go.
Colorful and crunchy.

#47. Text Face.

No, not that kind of text. This kind:

I know, I know. It is really amazing. Probably the best thing I have ever done.

Face #46. Wire.

My husband is creating with wire today. I decided to join him, and use this original medium for my project!

Check out Justin's awesome wire creation HERE.

Face #44. Playdoh.

I felt a little guilty playing with playdoh at home by myself yesterday. I'll have to do it again with the kids soon.

Face #43. Bowtie.

Just to clarify, this is eyebrows and a mustache, not eyes and a mouth.
I'm mostly proud of the bowtie that I made out of an old pair of jeans.
The rest is duct tape.

Face #42. Awe.

Thursday's Face.
I was trying to capture the expression "awe".
Also, 10 points if you can guess who this is.

#41. Paper Dolls

Today I was watching Blue's Clues with the kids, and Blue's "felt friends" were playing dress-up with all of their awesome costumes. I thought it would be fun to make some little friends for the kids to play dress-up with. The opportunities are endless if we're the ones making the costumes! I didn't have any felt, so I made paper dolls.

I've made paper dolls before, but it's so much more fun with the intention of actually playing with them.

Face #39.

I did some finagling with yesterday's drawing, and it seems a little more familiar now.

Face #38.

Sunday's face.
So tired, I was trying so hard just to keep my eyes open while drawing this (excuses, excuses). Eventually I gave up and went to bed.
This is Joe, and unrecognizable nobody.

Face #37. Beach Day.

We went to our camping spot today. It was windy and freeeEEEEzzzzzing, but the sunshine was out so it was still nice. I decided to use my trusty boots to draw again. Ahh, I love sand, I love the beach, I can't wait for summer and camping.
